Uzbekistan Luban Workshopwas established through a collaboration between Tianjin Maritime College and Tashkent State Transport University a year ago. The workshop, an example of China-Uzbekistan educational cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, offers information technology and logistics management majors, promoting the teaching model EPIP (engineering, practice, innovation and project). The workshop provides talent support for practical collaboration between China and Uzbekistan in fields such as the digital economy and smart logistics, benefiting more than 7,000 Uzbek students.

Tashkent State Transport Universityhosted the Logistics and Supply Chain competition and the Artificial Intelligence competition of the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition – Central Asia Regional Division (Uzbekistan) last month. Eight Uzbek universities competed in the event. Students from the workshop won all the gold medals in both competitions.
